This website is an invitation to help monitor construction activities and environmental impacts along the Enbridge Line 5 pipeline. Line 5 is roughly 72 years old, 22 years past its intended lifespan. Community monitoring is important– most of the incidents along the existing Line 5 pipeline have been found and reported by people just like you!
Here you can find an interactive map of the proposed Line 5 re-route in Wisconsin, as well as a map of its path under the Mackinac Straits in Michigan. The map can be used on your desktop and phone, and is sourced from public documents compiled through the Environmental Impact Statement regulatory process.
Use a simple form to submit your monitoring observations, found under the Monitoring tabs.
For now, the form is only for monitoring the Wisconsin portion of Line 5, but there will soon be an option to also submit observations for the Michigan portion of Line 5.
Thank you for working to protect the water and ecosystems for generations to come!
